Involvement in one of the cases (which case, position at the time of involvement):

His subordinates facilitated the conduct of examinations that contributed to the falsification of Sheremet's case.

Oleksandr Ruvin, director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations, insists on the authenticity of the evidence against the defendants in the case of the murder of Pavlo Sheremet. He previously appeared in the publicized wiretapping of the head of the State Bureau of Investigation, Roman Truba, as a polygraph examiner who "writes everything you say." This is reported by the publication "Letters".

IN ether of the "Freedom of Speech of Savik Shuster" program, Ruvin stated that the results of the research of Ukrainian specialists "did not match what the investigation had hoped for" - that is why the law enforcement officers turned to him, the material says. Ruvin's institution, as he noted, has been conducting portrait examinations for 100 years, and only this year there were more than 20 of them.

"These are psychological features of a person, because each person walks in his own way, he raises his hand in his own way, he puts his foot down in his own way. And here it was not necessary to invite a person from Great Britain... Given that our results did not coincide with what the investigation hoped for... Because we did not confirm either Hryshchenko or Kiyan that they were there at that time. We needed this specialist of ours, a colleague from Great Britain," the publication quotes him as saying.
