To the anniversary of the Sheremet show. About Antonenko's mine

On the anniversary of the Avakov-Ryaboshapka briefing with the detention of random people, I would like to remind you of the main myths of the case, the position of the prosecution and defense.

One example of a brazen lie from the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the myth about the so-called "Antonenko mine."

On the irrelevance of the MON-50 mine and why it has no connection to the crime, and why the fact that Andriy hid it is evidence in favor of the defense, and not the other way around
Video Text

The truth is that in May 2016, the fighters of the 3rd Special Forces Regiment gave Andriy an empty box (empty case) from a MON-50 mine as a souvenir, that is, a mine without explosives and two intermediate detonators.

⭕ This is confirmed by at least 2 witnesses - singer Oleksandr Polozhynskyi, who was present and inspected this case, as well as a military serviceman - the direct donor of the artifact.

Later, Andriy repeatedly photographed this souvenir and

⭕ posted his picture on Facebook.

Before searching Andriy Antonenko on 12.12.2019, the police carried out a standard provocation - knowing that he had this box, they informed Andriy that they were going to look for it in connection with the murder of Pavlo Sheremet and began listening to his phone (by the way, apparently, without a court order). Knowing about the false accusation of murder, Andriy asked his brother-in-law to take it out of the apartment and hide it, fearing that explosives would be added to it or evidence would be distorted in some other way. Having overheard the conversation and SMS, the police conducted a number of illegal searches (without a court order) and on 13.13.2019 found and seized the case of a MON-50 mine from the neighbors.

Despite the obvious illegality of the police actions, Andriy Antonenko did not hide all these circumstances and

⭕ spoke honestly about them during the first interrogation on 12/28/2019.

At the time of removal on December 13, 2019, explosives technicians immediately noted the absence of explosives in the mine body, and this was later confirmed by the official expert opinion (although this opinion was obviously corrected - ).

However, the police in official reports, propaganda films, prosecutors in court hearings, as well as the minister and his deputy in their interviews, systematically spread disinformation all the time, trying to implicate the MES-50 corps in the murder of Pavel Sheremet.

Regular mine MON-50 (Soviet copy of the Claymore mine) consists of a plastic case containing striking fragments (485 rollers or 540 balls) located inside on the front panel and filled with epoxy compound and 700 g of plastic explosive PVV-5A - an analogue of C-4 - 85% hexogen (RDX), 5% , butyl rubber and 10% mineral oil. When the mine is triggered, the case directs the force of the explosion and the striking fragments form a killing beam in the form of a fan in the 60° sector. Because of this, the Americans called the mine Claymore - after the name of a huge Scottish two-handed sword, which was swung from side to side. The mine is detonated using a fuse (detonator) of any design, which is screwed into one of the two available ignition sockets. Two fuse sockets are used simultaneously when the mine is set for controlled detonation with a “button” next to an unguided mechanism that will be triggered if the enemy approaches it. Each of the two fuse sockets contains internal intermediate (additional) detonators to increase the reliability of the screwed-in detonator and there are two small aluminum threaded rings – fuse socket sleeves – for screwing in the detonators.

In 2016, 95 fragments similar in size to the striking elements (rollers) of a MON-50 mine and fragments of a threaded sleeve similar to the sleeve of the ignition socket of a MON-50 mine were found at the crime scene. What exactly the main explosive was used for the explosion (the detonator is not counted) is still unknown, and this is noted by the FBI. The impossibility of establishing the explosive is due to the fact that the police did not take measures to preserve physical evidence and allowed the car to catch fire for about 10 minutes after the explosion. So, it is likely that only 2 elements of the improvised bomb could come from the MON-50 mine – the rollers and the sleeve. Video. Text

However

⭕ all 485 rollers and both fuse socket bushings in the body of Andriy Antonenko's mine are available

So he has nothing to do with the Sheremet bomb. In addition, according to the official indictment, Mr. Antonenko

⭕ did not manufacture or equip the bomb

and received it completely ready-made from the mysterious “organizers.”

Despite all this, the Minister of Internal Affairs immediately stated live on the Svoboda Slova program on December 13, 2019, that Antonenko kept a mine at home that “can kill a huge number of people” and “from which a particle of TNT was removed” (there is no TNT in the Ministry of Education and Science), the police spread a false report that an explosive substance was found in this souvenir, which was used to blow up Pavel Sheremet, and prosecutors constantly mentioned this souvenir as material evidence in court hearings, counting on an inattentive, uninformed, biased, or simply stupid audience.

The height of the officials' arrogance was the statement by Deputy Minister A. Gerashchenko, who said that Antonenko had been found half combat mines and for this alone Antonenko faces 7 years in prison! Pathos from half mines was a kind of inane hint that the second half of the mine was used to blow up Pavel Sheremet (indeed, the bomb contained a shellless charge approximately half the size of the MON-50 mine). Earlier, Minister Avakov, in the aforementioned Shuster program, on the contrary, stated that Antonenko's MON-50 box was “approximately half of the bomb” used to blow up Pavel Sheremet. Video. Text

To justify the accumulation of delusions from the minister and his deputy, their subordinates later developed an absolutely insane theory. According to their version, Antonenko, for an incomprehensible purpose intended saw the mine body in half, as evidenced by a hole has been made in it (Sappers usually make holes in depleted mines to effectively distinguish them from live mines).

How does a hole indicate a mine being cut? A hole in the budget indicates a budget being cut, but how is that in a mine? It turns out that, according to Avakov's subordinate Volodymyr Khomenko, the hole is supposedly  in order to insert the detonator there after cutting! Given that the factory holes for the detonator, with a thread, will remain exactly one in each of the halves! Why an additional hole? And wouldn't that huge rectangular one that will form in the end of each half as a result of the cutting be suitable too? And in the end, how does all this relate to the murder of Pavel Sheremet?

So all these insinuations, according to lawyer Dmytro Krugovy, are the behavior of a caught cheater.
