In 2015, he graduated from the Yaroslav the Wise National Law University with a degree in law. In 2016, he began working as an investigator at the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv Garrison.

Since 2018, he has been a prosecutor at the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv Garrison.

On December 4, 2020, he received his PhD from Sumy State University. Thesis topic: Administrative and legal principles of decentralization of executive power in Ukraine. Thesis supervisor Andriy Tsabeka and his wife Kateryna Tsabeka (they received their degrees on the same day) Ilchenko Oleksandr Vasilyevich spoke.

Since 2021, Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Military and Defense Sector of the Joint Forces.

In 2024 is running for the position of Detective of the National Bureau of the Detective Unit of the Main Detective Units of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. The competition is ongoing.

The case of Shrek – prevents the production of ammunition and repair of weapons of volunteer Kravchenko Igor. At the moment, he holds the position of deputy head of the Kharkiv Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern Region. Igor Krachenko joined the fight against Russian aggression as a volunteer with the beginning of the Russian invasion. Since 2022, he has been performing the role of a gunsmith and explosives technician: he processed unexploded ammunition, modernized obsolete shells, demined land plots, and trained military personnel in mine and explosives. At the request of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, he improves and repairs weapons, in particular automatic grenade launchers, anti-tank weapons (RPG-7, NLAW, Karl Gustaw); manufactures anti-aircraft turrets. He is an active military serviceman, however, he is charged under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal possession of firearms).
