Today, the Sumy City Council supported the appeal initiated by the Capitulation Resistance Movement to the Prosecutor General and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Razumkov with 22 votes in favor.
The appeal concerns the creation of a special commission in the Verkhovna Rada in the Sheremet case, the change of the investigative authority in the Sheremet case, and the change of the preventive measure for Andriy Antonenko.
Similar decisions have already been made by the Lviv City Council, Lviv Regional Council, and Poltava District Council.
It is expected that the Sumy Regional Council will also consider the appeal on Thursday.
