More than 18 court hearings, some of which took place within two years after the death of the commander of the subversive intelligence group and public activist Yury Horovets. Resonance among the public, because Yuriy was accused of "attacking" a journalist of the sanctioned pro-Russian channel "NASH".
Finally, the full stop has been put. Thanks to public publicity, the systematic work of the defense of Yury Horovets — OK LEGAL, and the active participation of citizens in signing an appeal to the prosecutor of the city of Kyiv with the demand to drop the charges — the prosecutor dropped the charges. Also, the "victim" journalist of the "NASH" channel, who was also at the last hearing of the case, supported the rejection of the accusation.
We will remind that in February 2021, a skirmish took place near the Shevchenkiv Police Department of the city of Kyiv, as a result of which one of the employees of the "NASH" channel stated that he was physically injured by the actions of Yuriy Horovets. In June 2021, the investigation announced that Yury was suspected of obstructing journalistic activities and beating a journalist. On December 25, 2022, Yuriy, the commander of a group of Bryansk saboteurs, died. Despite this and the "injured" party's statement that the case was not relevant, the trial continued.
