The Rivne City Council adopted the Appeal initiated by the Resistance Movement of Capitulation to the President of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding human rights violations in the judicial system of Ukraine, and disregard for the presumption of innocence during the consideration of the “Sheremet case” (regarding Andriy Antonenko, Yulia Kuzmenko, Yana Dugar) and the adoption of a guilty verdict in the case of Odessa activist and blogger Serhiy Sternenko.
Thus, the Rivne City Council became the tenth local council to adopt such an appeal.
This appeal was also sent to the Prosecutor General and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada from the deputies of the Kryvyi Rih City Council.
