About the hearing on the Sheremet case 02.02.2021

During the court hearing, the materials provided by the prosecution, namely volume one, were examined.

This volume contains materials regarding the start of the pre-trial investigation, namely the resolution on the creation of a group of investigators and prosecutors from the moment of the murder of Pavel Sheremet until the moment the case was transferred to court.

Among the many comments from the defense, I would like to draw the court's attention to the Resolution on changing the group of investigators dated 11.12.2019. There were two of them in the materials. Signed by the same person. Moreover, the second resolution dated 11.12.2019 contains something interesting: it directly states that Andriy Antonenko, Yulia Kuzmenko, Yana Dugar committed the murder of Pavlo Sheremet. This is despite the fact that on 12.12.2019 the prosecutors asked the court to detain these individuals, explaining that they were hiding, and only on 12.12.2019 were they served with a suspicion. Based on the above, we can say that this document was falsified, or that the requests for the detention of Antonenko, Kuzmenko, Dugar were falsified...

The prosecutor then filed a “standard” motion to extend preventive measures and additional obligations for the accused. The wording is also standard: they may flee abroad (all of their passports have been surrendered to the State Migration Service), they may hide in uncontrolled territory (all are related to the ATO, the Joint Forces Operation, volunteering, serving in the armed forces, declared for execution in the ORDLO), they may put pressure on witnesses, experts, specialists (not a single fact has been recorded in a year and 2 months), they are discussing on the phone (regarding Ms. Kuzmenko) the possibility of “extinguishing” Kyiv with hailstones (the expert examination of 04/17/2019 refutes this, it is noted that the conversation did not contain any calls, it is purely everyday in nature).

Then at 6:30 p.m. the court went into deliberations.

At 8:00 PM, the court announced that it was leaving everyone with what they had chosen. And it doesn't matter to the practice of the European Court of Human Rights, it doesn't matter to the people's deputies who were ready to take Andriy Antonenko on bail (special thanks to Maria Ionova, Iryna Friz, Yana Zinkevich, Mykhailo Bondar and other people's deputies), it doesn't matter to the evidence provided by the lawyers... It's a shame. It hurts. I don't agree.

It's a shame that those who didn't kill Pavel Sheremet are behind bars, can't save children's lives, can't live freely (they haven't been convicted yet, they're only suspected, IMHO, where is the rule of law).

And it's also a shame that after the acquittal, no one will bring them back to life, and the ECHR will order the recovery of the funds that were paid by you and me from the state of Ukraine, from our state. Not from the police, not from the prosecutors, not from the judges.

The only thing I can say is: Fight – you will win, God helps you! (Taras Shevchenko)
