Mykola Tyshchenko was informed by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, based on the materials of the State Security Bureau, of the suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty of a former military man in Dnipro. On November 16, the preventive measure expires, Tyshchenko and his lawyers are trying to prolong the proceedings. Instead, the court cannot properly organize the proceedings in order to make a decision in a timely manner.
The lawmaker took up this case to ensure public control and coverage of the struggle for justice, which is important for society. Due to such arbitrariness of elected officials, anyone can become a victim, like Kraken veteran Dmytro Pavlov.
During the next extension of the preventive measure, Tyshchenko decided to play "mouse and cat" with the court and the prosecutor, once again abusing procedural rights.
🔹 November 12, morning: Tyshchenko's lawyer requests to postpone the meeting. The prosecutor is against it, but the court agrees.
🔹 November 12, noon: Tyshchenko without a lawyer, himself submits a motion to postpone the meeting on two A4 sheets. The prosecutor objects again, the judge remarks on the systematic abuse of rights, but still - a break.
🔹 November 13, morning: the meeting is postponed due to air alarms.
🔹 November 13, noon: Tyshchenko disappears with a lawyer by the evening, claiming that he is not feeling well. Having lost his hide and seek, he loses his lawyer - he is offered a free alternative. The attorney for free assistance recuses himself. The judge set a new hearing for November 14 at 3:00 p.m.
❗️Will the review take place today? Will the court take these maneuvers of the suspect into account when deciding on a preventive measure?
