This week, a number of local councils adopted appeals condemning the imprisonment of Serhiy Sternenko, as well as appeals to the Prosecutor General and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada regarding the Sheremet case. The appeals were initiated by Law maker and The Resistance Movement of Capitulation.
Thus, the appeal in support of the creation of the TSC in the Verkhovna Rada, the change of the investigative authority in the Sheremet case, and the change of the preventive measure against Antonenko were accepted Lviv Regional Council, Sumy City Council and Poltava District Council.
Appeal in support of Sternenko accepted Lviv City Council, and today Ivano-Frankivsk City Council adopted an appeal against political repression in general.
However, the council Lutsk AH failed the appeal for Sternenko, and Sumy Regional Council refused to even bring the appeal in the Sheremet case to the session hall.
Today, a call to colleagues in the parliamentary corps demanding support for the appeal against Antonenko was published by the deputy Kryvyi Rih City Council Victoria Samoilenko and deputy Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Igor Artyushenko.
