Today, the Chervonohrad District Council in the Lviv region unanimously supported the appeal initiated by the Movement of Resistance to Capitulation to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the Prosecutor General regarding the creation of a parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission in the Sheremet case, changing the preventive measure for Andriy Antonenko, and changing the investigation in this case.

We hope that the pressure of local authorities on central authorities will bear fruit and soon the political persecution of Andriy Antonenko, Yulia Kuzmenko and Yana Duhar will stop!”, notes Valentyn Balagura, coordinator of the ROK in the Lviv region.
The Chervonohrad District Council is the third local council in the Lviv region to adopt this appeal. Previously, the Lviv City and Lviv Regional Councils unanimously voted in favor of the appeal.
