The appeal against the decision of the OASK in the framework of the Sheremet case was postponed until July 7

On June 16, the 6th Administrative Court of Appeal was to hear the appeal of Yulia Kuzmenko's defense against the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court (KDAC) to cancel the disciplinary punishment of Yuriy Irkhin, an expert from the Kyiv National Research Institute of Forensic Examination. In August 2020, the Disciplinary Chamber of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine declared the methodology used to conduct the “portrait-psychological examination” in the Sheremet case to be non-existent. It was this examination that was the main “evidence” of the investigation against Andriy Antonenko and Yulia Kuzmenko. However, in April 2021, the KDAC overturned this decision of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Ministry of Justice.

Initiative participants "Lawmaker", #FreeRiff, #FreeDrKuzmenko, Resistance movement surrender  held a picket at the courthouse, demonstrated information stands presenting arguments refuting the "evidence" of the investigation in the so-called Sheremet case. Activists also emphasized the need to eliminate the OASK as a structure that regularly makes illegal decisions in favor of government representatives or persons affiliated with them, or pro-Russian revanchists, and whose existence threatens Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

However, the court session did not take place today - it was postponed to July 7, 11:00.

"The meeting did not take place because Irkhin did not appear. Today I also received a copy of the appeal of the Ministry of Justice. The appeal proceedings were opened on June 14 on our appeal (the appeal of Kuzmenko's lawyer Taras Bezpaly). But only now were the proceedings opened and only today did they provide me with the appeal of the Ministry of Justice, filed on May 6. Did they intentionally "hold" this case? What is happening in the District Administrative Court? Is this a judicial structure at all?", emphasized Kuzmenko's lawyer Ilya Kostin.
