The Zaporizhzhia Regional Council was unable to accept an appeal to the Prosecutor General and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada in support of Antonenko, Kuzmenko, and Duhar, initiated by the Resistance to Capitulation Movement.
31 deputies out of 77 registered at the meeting voted in favor of the appeal. The Opposition Platform – For Life faction and almost the entire Opposition Bloc faction did not vote in full.
It is expected that the deputies of the regional council will send this appeal to the OGPU and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada as a collective, as This was done by their colleagues from the Donetsk region.
The Zaporizhzhia City Council may also consider the appeal in the near future.
