Serhii Sternenko - Odessa public figure, lawyer and blogger.

In Odessa, he was attacked 3 times, during the last one Serhiy wounded one of the attackers, Ivan Kuznetsov, who later died.

In 2020, after the appointment of Iryna Venediktova as the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and under her pressure, Sternenko was charged under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code "Intentional murder" and Art. 222 of the Criminal Code "Illegal carrying, storage, acquisition, manufacture and sale of firearms or melee weapons, ammunition and explosives".

Sternenko emphasizes: he defended himself and acted in accordance with the article on necessary defense. None of the witnesses confirmed that he finished off the attacker. There is no evidence of premeditated murder in the case, and the examination confirmed that the knife is not a cold weapon.

According to Sternenko, the case materials describe actions that fall under Article 116 of the Criminal Code "Intentional murder in a state of strong mental excitement", which is punishable by imprisonment for up to 5 years. Instead, prosecutors incriminate the article, under which they can be imprisoned for up to 15 years. The defendant's defense considers it an "unlawful desire to deprive him of his freedom."

On February 23, 2021, the Seaside District Court of Odesa convicted public activist, blogger Serhiy Sternenko for 7 years and 3 months with confiscation of ½ of the property

This happened within the framework of the case "Scherbych v. Sternenko and Demchuk"

After a lengthy legal process and dozens of actions in support of Sternenko, the Primorsky District Court of Odesa (judges S.M. Kichmarenko, O.P. Shentsova, and D.Yu. Dontsov) closed the case regarding Serhiy Sternenko's defense counsel.

On June 9, the Primorsky District Court of Odesa announced the sentence to Baimukashev Abzal Amangaliyovych in the case of the attempt on Serhiy Sternenko, which took place on May 1, 2018

The case is against veterans of the "Azov" regiment Serhiy Tamarin, Yuriy Kaplyu and Oleksandr Demydov.

On March 12, 2020, veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war disrupted the event of the then adviser to the Secretary of the National Security Council Serhiy Sivoho under the name "National Platform of Reconciliation and Unity" and expelled him from the "Parkovy" KEC. When leaving the hall, during the incident Sivoho lost his balance and ended up on the floor. Veterans of the "Azov" regiment were accused of this Serhiy Tamarin, Yuriy Kaplyu and Oleksandr Demydov.

They are suspected of hooliganism under part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (Actions provided for by parts one, two or three of this article, if they are committed with the use of firearms or cold weapons or other objects specially adapted or prepared in advance for inflicting bodily harm). Azov veterans face up to 5 years in prison.

On March 13, preventive measures were chosen for the detainees: Volkova - 24-hour house arrest, Tamarin and Kapla - personal commitment.

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv postponed consideration of the merits of the case until January 21.

In addition, the war veterans also sent a notification to the Security Service of Ukraine about the commission of treason by Sivokha, as he initiated the collaborative action. According to the activists, any attempts to "establish a dialogue" with representatives of the occupation administrations and persons who contribute to the illegal occupation of the territory of Ukraine are treason.

04-05.11.2020: fourth court session

Court sessions did not take place due to the illness of Oleksandr Demydov and Serhiy Tamarin

A meeting is scheduled for November 20, 2020

Andriy Denysenko - public figure, coordinator of the "Surrender Resistance Movement", politician, volunteer from Dnipro. People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation. In 2020, he was elected a deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

He is being prosecuted for criticizing the regional authorities, in particular the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, as well as the organization of the "Resident's Meeting" action in Dnipro on August 26, 2020. Then Zelenskyi's bodyguards, with the participation of police officers, beat Dnipro activists and Denysenko himself.

He is suspected of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 345 of the Criminal Code "Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer". The case is being heard in the city of Dnipro.

On December 11, the Investigative Department of the National Police and the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office declared Denysenko wanted for the second time in the past two weeks. Despite the fact that he goes to courts and regional council sessions.
the police and security of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi beat public figures at a peaceful protest during the guarantor's arrival. According to the fact of the statement about the crime, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Exceeding power or official authority by an employee of a law enforcement agency." Victims: Alina Novikova, Nadia Sviatun and Valery Garaguts. the criminal prosecution of Andrii Denysenko began. Criminal proceedings were opened against him under Part 2 of Art. 345 of the Criminal Code "Deliberately inflicting light bodily injuries on an employee of a law enforcement agency in connection with the performance of official duties by this employee."

The victims, who were beaten by Zelenskyi's bodyguards, submitted their statements at 6:00 p.m. to the State Police in Dnipropetrovsk region. However, according to their statements, the information was entered in the ERDR an hour later than the information that Denysenko, the coordinator of the Surrender Resistance Movement, allegedly beat a policeman. According to the defense, this shows that the police deliberately fabricated the case against Denysenko, just to somehow     to cover up their crimes (beating of public figures during a peaceful protest and Alina Novikova's broken rib).

According to the statement of Denysenko's lawyer Daria Kiyanenko, criminal proceedings have been opened against each of the 8 witnesses in the case     Denisenko under Part 2 of Article 365 of the Criminal Code "Exceeding authority or official powers by an employee of a law enforcement agency", Part 2 of Article 384 of the Criminal Code "Misleading the court or other authorized body", Part 1 of Article 396 of the Criminal Code "Concealing a crime." According to the defense, all these witnesses are police officers     at the same time, they are also criminals who received     participation in the beating of activists during Zelenskyi's arrival. At the same time, the investigation deliberately does not interrogate public activists who saw the incident and can testify about the circumstances of the case. As the lawyer reported, they deliberately did not include a video in the case file, which confirms that Denisenko was pushed, grabbed, and held by the hands

Denysenko's defense managed to open criminal proceedings against the prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk local prosecutor's office No. 4 of the Dnipropetrovsk region Maznytsia Artem Oleksandrovych and the deputy chief - the chief     Management of preventive activities Bogonos Volodymyr Romanovych according to Part 2 of Art. 365 of the Criminal Code "Exceeding authority or official powers by an employee of a law enforcement agency." According to the defense, it was Bogonis who organized and directly directed the actions of the police at the time of Zelenskyi's arrival.

Maznytsia is the procedural manager in the Denysenko case. However, he is not an authorized procedural manager, because he should be the prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office. According to the lawyer, the crime of the prosecutor consists in exceeding the power and official authority during the approval of the notification of suspicion to Denysenko.

According to the statement of Denysenko's lawyer, criminal proceedings were also opened against him the allegedly injured police officer under part 4 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code "Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps". . The defense believes that the victim forged his medical certificate.

At the same time, according to the statements of Zelenskyi public figures beaten by the police and bodyguards (Alina Novikova, Sviatun Nadiya, and Valeriya Garaguts), no investigative actions have been conducted so far, unlike the case against Denysenko, which contains signs of political persecution. the judge of the Industrial District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Oleg Machusky issued an absolutely illegal and illegal decision on the request of investigator Serhienko and the non-authorized prosecutor of Maznytsia to choose a preventive measure against Andrii Denysenko. The prosecutor and the investigator requested 24-hour house arrest. Judge Machusky issued a decision on the election of Andrii Denysenko as a preventive measure in the form of a personal commitment. The fabricated crime allegedly committed by Andrii Denysenko is not serious, provided for in Part 5 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code. And in the practice of pre-trial investigation, non-serious crimes do not require any preventive measures at all.

As of today, the investigator Hrytsenko again declared Andriy Denysenko wanted, despite the fact that he is not hiding. As of December 2020, investigators and prosecutors are trying to deprive or limit his freedom. According to Denysenko, they want to apply a preventive measure to him, since he is an elected deputy of the Dnipro Regional Council. In his opinion, the task is to exclude him from the active political process, from the process of forming the governing bodies of the Dnipro Regional Council, where every vote is "worth its weight in gold". That is why, according to Denysenko, the prosecution does not interrogate witnesses, hides case materials, and does not conduct proper investigative actions.

The Investigative Department of the National Police and the local prosecutor's office twice in the last two weeks submitted petitions to detain Denysenko, creating "fake" evidence that he is allegedly hiding from them. According to the lawyer, all this is done solely for the purpose of political pressure.Denysenko tried to get to an appointment with the regional prosecutor Serhii Bizhko, who signed the new suspicion, but he was absent from the workplace under the pretext of "safety measures against the coronavirus." Denysenko does not hide from the investigation: on November 30, he filed a complaint with the investigative department, on December 3 and 7 he was in court together with the investigator and the prosecutor, and on December 8, at the session of the regional council and in front of the police, he helped journalists get to the session hall, about which there is a video in the news The senior management of the regional and city police, including Volodymyr Bogonis, was also present at the session.

Twice law enforcement agencies (first, investigator Sergienko and prosecutor Maznytsia, second - investigator Hrytsenko and prosecutor Maznytsia) filed a motion to detain Denysenko. The prosecutor himself asked the court to leave the first petition without consideration, because on the eve of the hearing, Denysenko was in a court session, and this spoiled the plans of the investigator and to file a request for detention, due to the fact that Andriy Denysenko is apparently hiding from them. The court rejected the second request for forced introduction and detention of the investigator (Hrytsenko) and the prosecutor.

At the same time, during the pre-trial investigation, the investigators constantly avoid Denysenko's lawyer, ignoring the request to provide her with the materials of the criminal proceedings for perusal. During the regular meeting, the investigator Hrytsenko once again refused the lawyer to provide the relevant materials in violation of the rules of the Criminal Procedure Code. At the same time, the investigation complains to the court that "it is impossible to find a lawyer anywhere."

Also, during this time, no subpoena was served on Denysenko, in accordance with the rules of the Criminal Procedure Code. The senior investigator in the case of Andriy Denysenko, Dmytro Sergienko, does not comply with the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code and does not respond to any request of Denisenko's lawyer, Mrs. Kiyanenko. As of today, the investigator Hrytsenko again declared Andriy Denysenko wanted, despite the fact that he is not hiding.
